Gunshot victim & mommy to 5 beautiful babies

Hi. My name is Ajia from Virginia Beach, Virginia & I am fundraising for myself and my children because it’s coming up to a year since my injury and I have yet to open up about my story and so here goes nothin! I have 3 boys and 2 girls, all elementary school children; we are all trying our best. But last year around Mother’s Day weekend, my children and I had just moved from a domestic violence shelter to an unfamiliar neighborhood and not even two weeks into us living in our new home, I was shot in my back by a random bullet from an AR. I was also 7months going on 8months pregnant with my late daughter Delilah, my sleeping angel. I literally woke up to no baby and no legs working; the doctors are all claiming I’m never going to walk again but I proved them wrong on a few key things so far so I’ll never give up. But however to keep my little world going, I’m struggling to pay my bills & we lost our vehicle basically parts were getting stolen from it just sitting so long and now it’s beyond repair…that’s my transportation to my doctor appts, to my kid’s appointments; I used to be a hard working independent person but now that I am in a wheelchair i am choosing to lean into my community and ask for help, because I so desperately need it!
