Journey of a Father

I wish to start a GoFundMe campaign for my son’s father Phillip Jones. He’s a father, friend, a humbled servant of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!

Back in April, Phillip got news that he has a rare form of cancer called ALK-Negative Large Cell Lymphoma. Hearing the word cancer is scary. Instant waves of emotions consume you and thoughts start running through your brain before the doctors have a chance to finish what’s all left to say. Being that this cancer is rare, it took the doctors some time (a month) to access the right treatment that will be best suited for Phillip. We Thank God that it was caught early enough (stage 2) to be treated as well as give Phillip a higher chance of beating this particular cancer.

Since starting chemo, Phillip has had some highs and lows. Good days where he had mustard up the strength to go to work and some bad days where he’s too tired to do anything. And again we Thank God that he has more good than bad. That he’s able to endure the fight that it takes to succeed in this battle with cancer.

Before things start to get overwhelming for him, I wanted to start this GoFundMe an ask for support and donations if possible. If you feel it in your heart to help in anyway whether it’s monetary or support however your hearts says, Phillip will be greatly appreciative of what’s received.
