Gurudas Needs Your Help!

Dear Devotees and Friends worldwide,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Many of you may know Gurudas Prabhu (Roger Siegel).
He was an early, (the 8th) disciple of Srila Prabhupada, taking initiation in April 1966 in San Fransisco.
He was a very trusted & confidential servant & friend to Srila Prabhupada & also to many devotees worldwide, renowned for his goodwill, generosity of spirit, compassion and empathy.
In his 55 years of devotional service to Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha and Krishna, he has pioneered many projects, including establishing the highly successful London Radha Krishna temple and also, notably, for introducing George Harrison to Srila Prabhupada, which later led to the donation of Bhaktivedanta Manor.
Gurudas then went to India & established the now world-famous Sri Sri Krishna Balaram temple in Sri Vrindavan Dham.
More recently, seeing that ISKCON was yet to develop a support structure for ailing and elder devotees who have given their best years in service to the ISKCON society, Gurudas set up the Vedic Care Charitable Trust, a group of volunteers to help and serve his godbrothers and godsisters and other senior devotees in their later years of life, many of whom unfortunately had fallen on hard times and are frequently isolated, poor and feel somewhat forgotten.
Our dear Gurudas now himself, sadly faces dire circumstances & requires our immediate financial support to secure his residence and daily essentials.
With his already modest income significantly reduced, he and his family are sadly on the brink of homelessness.
Now in his 82nd year, Gurudas Prabhu continues to selflessly serve, but the overwhelming financial strain is taking a toll on his health & well-being.
It is therefore with the utmost urgency that we reach out to you today.
Together, let us rally and raise the necessary funds to ensure Gurudas Prabhu lives out his remaining years free from financial anxiety & hardship.
Your generous support will make an immeasurable difference to a devoted soul who has touched the lives of so many of us.
Thank you deeply for your contributions to this noble cause, aiding a truly worthy devotee to whom we all owe an immense debt of gratitude.
Hare Krishna,
your servants.
