Gustav Vet Bills
Donation protected
Gustav is my 5-year-old tabby cat who I rescued just over 2 years ago. He was sadly injured on the 21st of June 2023. We are not entirely sure what happened, however, believe he was hit by a car.
He was rushed to the vet hospital in Glasgow where he's been ever since. He has a fractured pelvis which had detached from his spine. His prognosis for recovery for this is excellent. However, Gustav took a turn for the worst at 4 pm today, 22nd of June 2023,he is now facing multiple days of treatment for a bladder blockage which is very common when cats have a fractured pelvis.
My insurance is covering the first £4,000 of treatment however I am now being faced with a further £2,000-£4,000 of treatment on top of this for him.
The vet anticipates he will recover from his injuries and this blockage and does not want me to give up on him yet however I cannot cover the cost that goes past my insurance limit and will have no choice.
Any help to cover any additional costs would be much appreciated. I just want my boy back home
