Sergeant Gustavo Frias was an amazing father, Soldier, and friend. While preparing for a deployment with the Army National Guard, Gustavo passed away in a vehicle accident near Camp Roberts, CA. Gustavo was a dedicated Soldier with a promising career, having served eight years in the Army National Guard, including a deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Gustavo was 30 years old and is survived by his two young children, Jayden (10) and Isaiah (8).
We are establishing this memorial fund in Gustavo's name to lend support and assist with Jayden and Isaiah's current tuition expenses during this unexpected and tragic time. With life turned upside down right now, we'd like to help them maintain some sense of normalcy.
Gustavo will be greatly missed and we are blessed to have shared our lives with him.
