Gustavo Fuentes Memorial and Scholarship Fund

Attorney Gustavo Nicolas Fuentes, 48, passed away in his home on Saturday February 18th, 2023, in Oakland, New Jersey. He was a well-respected immigration attorney running his own law practice in Clifton, NJ. He graduated from West Jeff High School in Harvey, Louisiana, obtained a Master’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of New Orleans and Juris Doctorate from New York University.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Lanning Fuentes, 47, and 3 daughters: Isabella 14, Talia 11, and Viviana 9. He is also survived by his mother Liduvina Elena Fuentes, siblings Aida Fuentes, Julia Noto, and Raymundo Fuentes. He was preceded in death by his father Julio Fuentes.

As friends and colleagues of Gustavo, we are devastated by his passing. We remember our colleague for his kindness and devotion to his family and clients.
