Today is #GUTSelfie day!

As many of you know I have an illness called acahalasia. Unfortunately, this means I am unable to swallow anything.

Since 2018 I have had a bit of a bad time. And my symptoms have been made worse from failed operations. This has caused extreamly bad damadge to my body, inside and out. The failed operations and all the following issues caused by this have changed my life massively.

So sadly I am now permanently dependent on a peg feeding tube.

This has been the most difficult thing I have had to go through. It's been a huge life changer and I didn't know how to cope for a long time.

But I am slowly starting to learn to accept my illness and my feeding tube. Its been a long and difficult journey but I have had support from so many lovely people and I am finally starting to be myself again. ❤️

It is so important for research to be done for rare illnesses like achalasia and so many more.

And @gutscharityuk are an incredible charity that help to look into all of these kind of illnesses.
