Support Brooke’s journey to recovery.

Hello my name is Tori Kelly, and my dear friend since childhood, Brooke Hanbury is in need of our help. Brooke, single mother to her beautiful daughter Chloe, was diagnosed in July with stage 2 invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

Brooke is currently on two month course of intensive chemo aka “red devil chemo”. Beginning Nov 3, Brooke will move to a 3 month course of chemo that will include extended stays hours away from home in Boise, ID. From there a mastectomy surgery followed by 45 rounds of radiation 5 days a week …also in Boise, ID. Needless to say , her need is more than great. Lest we forget that on top of all of this she of course has to keep up with life necessities such as food, housing, bills, and all family needs.

All of this is compounded by the fact that Brooke is now unable to maintain her previous employment. Unable to work do to the severity of her treatment. As well, all of Brooke’s treatments include repeated 3 hours drives in each direction to and from her home to medical facilities in Boise, ID. Creating additional financial strain with the trip costs, food, lodging, and beyond.

Brooke is a true and loyal soul. She is friend to many , a tireless and loving mother, and hard worker. She was not just doddling around when she was blindsided with this horrible news. I can tell you with my whole heart that she deserves our help, and she needs it quickly.
