Guy and Linda Ferranti Terminal Cancer Fund

My stepdad, Guy Ferranti, was diagnosed with throat cancer only a few months ago. He has received a tracheotomy which has left him without the ability to speak or eat. Since then, the cancer has spread and is now terminal and inoperable. These past few months have been extremely difficult for him, and for our family. With the cancer’s rapid, aggressive progression, these next few months are going to be even more challenging and any time we do have is a gift.

During this time, my mother, Linda Ferranti, has been out of work, caring full-time for Guy, her husband of 22 years. She has been not only his support and his nurse, but also his voice.

Frankly, my mother doesn’t want to bother anyone with this request. She doesn’t want to ask for the help that she needs. These situations can’t be predicted or prepared for. The medical bills are debilitating and she is unable to go back to work while Guy is in her full-time care.
