Guy M Simmons Death ~ Help w/ Exp's

Donation protected
January 10, 2015 ---- a day I will never forget.  My father, Guy M Simmons aka "Freebird"  passed away unexpectedly at only 56 years old that morning. He left this world without warning,  leaving five grieving children, no will, and no money. He was disabled, a veteran, an avid motorcyclist, a father, and a friend to everyone he ever met. His love of life, his friends, and of his family is sustaining us all during this very difficult time but does not help us in meeting the monetary obligations that we now face.   His "estate" consists of his prized possesion, a motorcycle and a small home in Gary, IN.  that was gifted to him by a family member. Dad being on disability did not allow him the luxury of a savings account, he lived month to month like most of us and  required help doing even that from time to time. Thus the problem, there was no money for any of the funeral expenses, they have not been paid.  I am a student and work part time to support my family and do not have extra funds at all.  The only way we can sell his little house to meet any expenses incurred as a result of his untimely death  is to open an estate --someone needs to be a court appointed executor and given the authority to sell the house and handle his affairs ( debts ) -- this process requires an attorney and there is no money for an attorney. We all missed work and  travelled so that he could be buried in a family cemetary and are not sure how and when he will ever have a headstone, how the funeral will be paid for, how other pending bills will be paid, or how the estate can be settled if it cannot be opened. Even when the estate is settled the value of the little house in Gary will not meet the debts of the estate. We have spent the last two months seeking free legal help but have found it unavailable for the reason of opening an estate.  If you could help us with a small donation and share this we would appreciate it more than we could find the words to tell you. I am not asking because I want to but only because I need to. If you have any questions or need further information please ask me, I will be happy to share the obituary with you.
