The Guys Hill Primary School Children
Future doctors, lawyers, educators, business owners, mechanics, carpenters, chefs, athletics, homemakers, etc.…their hopes and dreams are our responsibility.
It was during a recent visit to the area that I proudly admired these children as they walked to the Guys Hill Primary School, my alma mater, when a spark ignited within me to give back to the future. They are bright, curious, shy, in need, yet proud and full of joy beyond their immediate circumstances. All from diverse backgrounds with a common set of circumstances…they are in need of our help.
With the immediate need of these children in mind, I have created a way for everyone to help however much or little that you can. The goal is to raise enough funds to purchase 350 backpacks including school supplies. This effort is being coordinated with the principal of Guys Hill Primary School to ensure that each of the 321 enrolled children (plus the new enrollees) receive a backpack to begin the 2018 school year. These supplies are needed by July 2018.
