Momma Bear in Need

Please help my mother Peggy Ritter. Mom was in a high velocity rollover crash at 70 miles and hour. She has broken her arm, wrist, both shoulders, hip, sternum, 8 ribs, pelvic fractures and spinal fractures. As swelling changes they are continuing to run scans and X-rays to check for any other trauma. She is stable, nothing life threatening that we know of, but definitely life changing at least for a while. She's awake and talking. But in a lot of pain. She is now at Vanderbilt trauma and they seem to be taking excellent care of her. But mom is a true “Momma Bear”. She is our rock. She is also raising a couple of her grandkids. What the family needs is a vehicle as the one she totaled was not paid for and is the only vehicle for the family. Her husband has no transportation for him or the teenagers who also need transportation for work and school. Medical bills will be extensive as well as months of physical therapy once she recovers and can go home. Also help with everyday expenses and bills. Her husband receives disability but it doesn’t come close to covering the bills, not including basic necessities. I hate to ask for help this way, and of course my siblings and myself will be doing all we can. But what we can do is minor compared to the needs as we all have our own households to keep afloat as well.
