Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of Daniel Lester, a cherished individual who has shown immense courage by embarking on a journey towards recovery from addiction. Overcoming addiction is a formidable challenge, and he has bravely chosen to take the final steps towards a healthier and brighter future. At the end of January, will graduate Kitsap County Drug Court. It has been over 2 years since he started in November of 2021. With total dedication and conviction to Hope and happiness he has almost prevailed in his fight to have a new beginning.

Daniel has made the brave decision to start anew, seeking to rebuild a life filled with hope, purpose, and stability. However, this path is not easy, and he cannot do it alone. The cost of rehabilitation, therapy, medication, and essential living expenses during this transitional phase can be overwhelming.

Daniel has worked very hard in the construction business for the first year and a half of his recovery. In September of this year he obtained his class a commercial driver's license. Because he is still in Kitsap County Drug Court program, he is unable to use his CDL until 90 days after his cases have been closed. He is currently undergoing Medical Care for heart problems that are keeping him from working hard and providing for his needs.

Bills are overdue and the fear of ending the progress that has been made and falling back into hopelessness and despair is terrifying. Asking for help is tremendously difficult and embarrassing for anyone.

Victory is within reach for him. He just needs help getting over the finish line so that all this work and progress doesn't come undone.

Every dollar contributed to this fundraiser will go directly towards supporting Daniel in accessing the necessary resources for recovery. Your generosity will aid in covering crucial rehabilitation programs, therapy sessions, transitional housing, and other vital necessities to ensure a successful recovery journey.
