A Miracle for Michael

Our family has recently undergone some devastating, traumatic and life changing events. Our amazing, God-fearing and selfless father, Michael, suffered a heart attack with major complications. He was life-flighted to two major hospitals and is currently in critical condition in the cardio-thoracic ICU in Portland, ME. The next 24-72 hours are critical and he will eventually require major surgery and months of rehab. When he pulls through (we believe in miracles and the power of prayer), life will be completely different for him, for our mom, and family.

He is the loving husband to our mom, Lynda of 48 years. He is the grandfather and role model to 5 beautiful girls. He is provider and co-care-taker our of 43 year old disabled sister, Christin. He also cared for his son, our brother Aaron, also disabled, who traumatically passed away in 2022. Now as a result of these traumatic events, he will never be able to care for his disabled daughter again.

Our family lives in an area that is rural, and due to the nature of things, we must travel to the major hospitals.

We are so thankful for the countless number of prayers and support we’ve received from our extended family, friends and loved ones. We have amazing family that has come to our aid recently. We’re blessed.

However, we’ve been asked many many times by many many people (dad was so loved) how they can help. We thought of this. Due to our sister, and our mothers current state of worrying for our dad, we’d like our mom to not have to worry about the uncertain future at the moment. This fund would help. This fund is to help with the costs incurred during this process - medical bills, treatments, hotel stays, and respite care for our sister Christin etc.

Our father is a proud man, we have no idea what to ask for, so this is hard for us.

Regardless of this, we ask for your prayers. We need a miracle for our dad, a miracle for Michael.
