House fire— everything is lost— no insurance

Recently we made a go fund me after finding out my oldest son was diagnosed with brain cancer. He underwent 4 brain surgeries within two weeks, I have a lot more detail on the go fund me or on my Facebook page about that devastating news.

We had just returned home finally on Friday (October 7th) and we’re just getting settled into being back in our own home and being comfortable, and relaxing until we started Chance’s radiation and chemo in 4 weeks…

As if tragedy hasn’t struck our family enough within the last week, last night (October 11th) our family home had a house fire that started from a grease fire. Everything I’ve accumulated over the years since moving out when I turned 18, everything my kids have accumulated, everything we own, all of our sentimental items, our memories, everything is gone. Nothing is salvageable at this point, the only things that may be salvageable at this point is going to be things from the basement, which is nothing of use, it’s all old clothes that no longer fit, and old baby toys, and old baby items. So we are starting from scratch with absolutely nothing. What we ran out of the house in is the only thing we have, the clothes on our back. And our youngest son Camdyn was only in underware. We have lost everything. So we need to build back up from absolutely nothing.

We do not own the house. We were renting, and we did not have any form of insurance.
