HouseFireVeteranSupportAnna
Earlier today (Saturday 16 April 2016) there was a large house blaze in the Wagga Wagga area.
This house belonged to none other than our very own dear sister and friend Anna Sutcliffe.
Thankfully, Anna and her two children were not home at the time.
Anna as many of you know, has sacrificied countless of hours volunteering help other veterans through organisations such as Trojans Trek and Women Veterans Network Australia. Anna herself is a veteran and has traveled a long and sometimes difficult journey in her efforts to support others.
Anna is a strong pillar within our community however at this time she needs us to support her!
It is unknown at this stage how severe the damage is exactly however the damage is certainly significant. Anna does have insurance, however we all know that insurance only goes so far to covering the costs involved with starting your life all over again. Our requests for funds are to help cover as much as possible of the out of pockets expenses for Anna. Not only that, but donations of money, time, items and support are an integral part to ensuring that the welfare of Anna and her children is maintained.
In the future we will endeavour to also seek donations of trade skills, labour, time and people power to assist Anna with the clean up/repair/rebuild of her home.
Anna and her two children are in for a long and difficult journey as they attempt to cross yet another hurdle. Anna and her two children will need our support more than ever.
It is likely that Anna will be in for some siginificant financial hardship, hardship that is certainly not deserved!!!
The kids will need to have some things replaced and so will Anna.
If you are able and willing, any small sum you can provide would go a long way to replacing some of the items they have lost.
They will also in the initial stages need to be able to buy many basics such as toiletries, food, medications etc until they either relocate elsewhere or repairs are completed to make the house habitable again.
We would also love any vouchers, if you can't afford to spare some money, any coles/woolworths/bunnings etc would go a long way to providing Anna and her family what they need in the initial stages and also assist Anna with any repairs she made need to pay for herself.
Please contact myself if you wish to donate vouchers and I will ensure Anna and her family receive them.
Anna is a truly wonderful person, and has helped so many. There isn't a person less deserving of such hardship.
Please help in any way you can.
If you are not able to support Anna in a financial way, please spread the word and get as many people involved as possible.
