Gwen Erffmeyer Inglis Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Gwen Erffmeyer Inglis was loved by everyone who knew her. Tragically, she was struck and killed by an impaired motorist on the morning of May 16, 2021 while on a training ride with her husband, Mike. This day is forever etched into the broken hearts of hundreds, if not thousands, who knew and loved Gwen.
Besides being a fiercely talented cyclist and multiple-time State and National Champion, she was also gentle and kind. She was warm and inclusive and an incredible example of grace and humility - both on and off the bike. She was also a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend to many. And since her passing, she continues to influence us all to be better humans. We're all striving to #BeLikeGwen.
The #BeLikeGwen Committee created this fundraiser to honor the incredible woman that Gwen was. All proceeds raised will be used to fund a memorial bench, a plaque, and trees to be planted in the open space near the crash site - a route that she had ridden countless times.
Any additional funds raised will go to women's cycling development programs.
Gwen Inglis remains in our hearts forever. We hope this memorial serves as a reminder to always be kind to others, give selflessly, and enjoy the ride .... #BeLikeGwen.
