Gwen's TECA Surgery

Hi, my name is Bri and I'm looking to raise funds for my girl Gwen's upcoming surgery in April. For those that do not know, TECA which stands for Total Ear Canal Ablation, is an ear procedure for dogs that have ongoing ear issues that unfortunately cannot be resolved through medical treatments and therefor need surgical intervention. Those of you that happen to know Gwen's story know that she has had quite the medical journey in her 13 years of life, but despite her having to overcome A LOT of health challenges, she remains a sweet and happy girl always. Honestly, I could learn a thing or two from her endless resilience and strength. She is like a little ray of sunshine no matter how many rainy days she's endured. She is quite the inspiration.

Back in 2013 I had another Cocker Spaniel who also had a TECA procedure. At that time the cost was around $3,500-$4,000 once it was all said and done. Unfortunately, as with everything else in the world, the likely cost for Gwen's TECA will be more as the average range has increased. I was quoted an average between $4,000 on the low end, and upwards of $6,000 for the high end. My mom and I are pooling our funds to put towards the surgery but are hoping to get some help to pay off this hefty bill. I know many of my friends have followed Gwen's journey over the years and love her as I do. If you are unable to donate, please share with your friends and family.
