Barbara's Cancer Treatment Fund

This past week my mother, Barbara Surber, got the news that no one should have to hear. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. At this time we are unsure what kind and are pending biopsy results but the physician feels it is most likely ovarian. This news took us all by such surprise as she had just been treated for ductal carcinoma in situ which is a form of breast cancer.   I wonder how this could happen to someone like my mom. I think back on the life that I have shared with her. Not one time do I ever remember her putting herself before someone else.  It didn't matter what it was that someone needed, time, money, love, she was always there. She is the kind of women I hope to be and make proud.  I wish I could give her the world and make everything better but I can't. I can reach out for help though. The surgeries and treatments will all be done in Tulsa. Along with that will be all the expenses of travel, medicals bills, and time off for family helping her through this. Our family is small and we can not do this alone. Any amount that can be donated would help. No amount is to small. I also want to thank those of you for reading this and ask for you to pray for mom.
