Support Jason's Fight for Recovery
Donation protected
On Wednesday, my son’s world got turned upside down. He was at work when his neck started hurting. He ended up losing feeling in his left arm and called 911. By the time he got to the hospital, he was almost completely paralyzed. He was transferred to Vassar, being paralyzed from the neck down. An MRI showed swelling and lesions from his C3 to C7. We have been told it could be anything from West Nile to MS to mono to transverse myelitis.
Everyone who knows my son knows he is a great young man who does anything for anyone and works 40+ hours a week. Jason is the kind of person who doesn’t give up. He was captain and quarterback of his football team and even shattered his thumb once during a game and played till the end because he was determined.
We are in the process of having him transferred to a better hospital since we are still getting no clear answers. But in the meantime, he has a long road to recovery as he was told he may never be able to walk again.
I am asking for donations to help with medical bills as he has no insurance at the time and to help him stay afloat during his road to recovery.
