Help Anna Racine's Recovery

To say Anna is a warrior Momma is no understatement.

Last year, at the age of 38, Anna was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, which had traveled to her lymph nodes. She faced one year of challenging treatments, leaving her with some further medical conditions. And then, totally unrelated, Anna found out she had a serious heart condition requiring open heart surgery.

Last week, Anna underwent a 7 hour open heart surgery in Vancouver General Hospital to repair her aorta. She is being discharged tomorrow, August 17th with a long, gruelling road ahead. Anna is mum to Luca, aged 3.5 years, who loves his mother fiercely. As a single parent and having been off work for the past 2 years dealing with health issues, there is a large financial burden on Anna alone. She has no local family to help with driving, meals, daycare pick ups and drop offs, dog walks, housekeeping, etc. She will be significantly limited physically for the next 3 months during her recovery. Day to day tasks will be nearly impossible in the beginning. We would like to take the financial burden off Anna and Luca for the next little bit. All funds raised will go to helping with immediate bills and any additional help she needs.
