One Hand One Dream

Hi all, we are Michelle & James, parents of Harry Enright. We are raising money for a new prosthetic for our Son Harry. Harry was born without his left hand, and his dream in life is to become a mainstream horse racing jockey.

His current prosthetic no longer meet his needs to successfully progress within the industry. His prosthetic needs to be lighter, more robust and reliable to withstand the rigours of riding a racehorse. Harry has made brilliant progress over the past nine months but is now at a point where without this new prosthetic he is being held back from taking the next steps in his pioneering journey.

The prosthetic that Harry requires has never been made before; to the best of our knowledge, this means it will be a first! Due to this, although we now have a starting point, achieving such a specialist device is very much going to be a trial and error process.

Although this incredible journey is Harry's dream, it is also his passion to inspire people alike. The ability to ride any horse without the horse adapting to the human is paramount in horse racing. This prosthesis will allow Harry to achieve his dream, but he will also be paving the way for other limbless horse riders to enable them to also fulfil their dreams, whether professionally as a career or as a hobby.

Harry is determined to break down barriers with his 'OneHandOneDream' journey. As you can see, we need to raise a substantial amount, and so we need all the help we can get to support Harry on the next step of his incredible journey.
