Justin James has been practicing mixed martial arts since 2005. He started his martial arts journey in Honolulu, Hawaii with a few Jiu Jitsu classes but soon realized that he had more of an ease and connection with striking. Justin signed up for Muay Thai class with Haru Shinmanshi (Founder of AMC in Washington and HMC in Hawaii) and he later joined David Yueng’s (China Man) fight team where Justin would focus on MMA (mixed martial arts).

Aloha! My name is Ray Cruz. I am originally from Guam and have lived in Hawaii over the last 24 years. My wife is Linda Cruz, and we have three amazing children and one grandchild. I am a full time teacher at Farrington High School.

I started my Jiu Jitsu journey in 2014 – at the age of 54. My son Brayden had been training for three years and was 7 years old at the time. He is now 16 years old and is a blue belt. He was my inspiration to train jiu jitsu. From the first time I stepped foot on the mats, I loved it and knew that this was going to be a big part of my life.
