Gypsy Rose's Broken Leg
Donation protected
On March 29th, Gypsy Rose broke her Tibia and Fibular bones when she was playing with the other dogs in our rescue. Gypsy Rose had surgery on May 2nd, to repair the Tibia and Fibular bones and to correct the curve in the bottom section of the Tibia bone.
Two years ago, we rescued Gypsy and she came with the same leg broken for 7 yrs. The family who surrendered her to us never fixed her leg. Gypsy became a tripod for 7 yrs. We had corrective surgery for her, and Dr Landsdowne from Pieper Memorial Vet Hospital, did a miracle for Gypsy and saved her leg.
On May 2nd, Gypsy had a plate, screws and a pin inserted on her left leg. Again, Dr Lansdowne from Pieper Memorial did a fabulous job repairing her broken bones.
Gypsy Rose will have to do a lot of therapy for her recovery, but we will take one day at a time. She has a long road ahead of her, but she's a little trooper, and she will be stronger than she was before.
Gypsy is loved by all, and she is the sweetest little Mini Toy Aussie. She loves to give lots of kisses and loves to cuddle, and most of all, she really LOVES walking on all four limbs.
We really need help with funds for the surgery for Gypsy. If anyone can make a small donation, we would truly appreciated it. Even a dollar donated helps us. Please consider donating for Gypsy. She is one of our very loved sanctuary dogs in our rescue.
"Thank You" from Gypsy Rose and from Sarah's Second Chance Dog Rescue.
