Gypsy Sisters Boutique Re-boot
Floods, Pandemic & Fire. We will not give up.
On Sunday August 22nd the fire on Main Street in Guerneville damaged and destroyed our shop, Gypsy Sisters Resale Boutique.
A business I built over the past 13 years. One that employed locals, donated heavily to the Mill street thrift, the living room woman’s shelter and has endured a whirlwind of events and disaster.
this little shop has not only provided for my family but for the ladies who work at the shop as well as our loyal consignors and customers.
We have a steady amount of single mamas who use and rely on our shop as an outlet to provide for their families as well. This saddens me above anything.
We learned this morning that the building is set to be demolished therefore leaving us “Gypsy Sisters “ homeless for the time being. We plan to re-open as soon as we can secure a location but it’s slim to none in this town and costly.
We believe the property owners have been negligent in addressing the concerns of the public and it’s tenants. We believe the property owners are at fault. We believe the property owners have a duty to take necessary steps to protect tenants from foreseeable criminal acts.
We believe the property owners should be held accountable and liable for negligent and intentional criminal conduct of a third party. We believe the property owners have been a nuisance to the community and local businesses. We believe that we have notified the property owners on an ongoing regular basis for a year and a half of criminal activity including other fires on the property and that proper action should have been taken more seriously.
*all monies raised from this go fund me will go to secure an attorney to hold the property owners accountable and to repay vendors and re-boot Gypsy Sisters Resale Boutique here in Guerneville
