The Passing of My Mother

My beautiful mother has passed and has ended her suffering. It has been a long battle of multiple respiratory illnesses to recently being diagnosed with breast cancer. These last few months with her have been extremely hard, and God took her into His arms while she was resting. This battle has been going on for the last 8-9 years. In 2014, my mom needed a tracheotomy because she was no longer fully capable of breathing on her own and has been constricted to living in a nursing home for the last 3 years of her life. That transition was the hardest, but it gave me the best 3 years of my life with her. She was a great woman who loved God and had the kindest and biggest heart imaginable. She will be greatly missed by the few loved ones she has left in this world.

With that said, I am please asking for any help. Being the next of kin and being fully responsible for a parent has never been an easy task. Anything will help, including just emotional support.

Also, If you have time, here is a letter I wrote to my mother back in January. This letter was written from the deepest part of my heart and was written with the truest and honest love within me towards my mom.
