Please help Linda Whitt get better

Our sister Linda contracted an extremely rare flesh eating infection while housesitting in the UK . She has been in the hospital since late June 2023. She has undergone multiple surgeries to treat the infection, remove the affected tissue, and reconstruct the area. She cannot lay on her back, or stomach, needs to turned by nurses and is barely able to stand. She is fed thru a feeding tube in her nose. Due to the amount of IVs and lack of nutrients her veins collapsed and she had to undergo a procedure to treat that as well. Next steps are uncertain as the infection still continues to persist and her medical costs are accumulating rapidly. Her health insurance does not cover medical costs outside of the US. When she is finally able to leave the hospital she will not be healthy enough to travel back to the US for several months. Fortunately, she will have a place to live but will need to pay rent and care costs.
