Devastating fire

Hi,

My name is Eric Mensh. My wife Wendy and I have a 37-year-old son with high-functioning autism who is working and is a dedicated father raising a 7-year-old daughter on his own. They have lived for many years in a condo we own in Goffstown, NH, which caught fire last Thursday 7/21/2022 and destroyed about 95% of their belongings. Nearly all of the things that were sentimental and irreplaceable to them went up in flames.

When we engaged the insurance company, we discovered that the property was improperly insured and that we would be responsible for $20,000 of the $25,000 deductible on the complex's master policy. We also found out that because the property was insured in our name, the insurance company would not pay for alternative living arrangements for Kevin and Alyssa, who are now staying at our house, which is a significant distance from her school, daycare, and Kevin's work. The construction to repair the building is expected to take as long as six months, and at this point, we don't even know whether the contents of the building will be covered by insurance.

100% of everything raised will go to Kevin and Alyssa to assist with living expenses and to help get them back on their feet after this devastating event.
