The Pettyjohn's Disability Fund

Hi....my name is Robert Pettyjohn.  I am a 49 year old married father of 2 daughters.  My wife is Serena and my daughters are Emily and Maggie.  In September of 2014 I was diagnosed with Diabetic Gastroparesis (stomach paralysis).  Since mid September I have lost approximately 50 pounds and have been hospitalized on multiple occasions.  My health has deteriorated immensely in a very short time and I have been unable to work since.  My health issues unfortunately come on the heels of my wife's 2 year (successful) battle with breast cancer.  We have applied for social security disabilty benefits, but was recently informed by social security that a decision on my claim is not expected until March of 2015.  Due to Serena's medical expenses over the last few years, we were already living check to check prior to my illness.  We have involved our state congressman and representatives, but cannot put all of our eggs in one basket.  We are financially devastated right now and if we have to wait until March of 2015 the situation will be far worse.  Please help us.....
