Cash's Crew: Our Fight Against Hepatoblastoma
Donation protected
Hi, thank you so much for visiting this page!
My sister Jamie (Brown) Rebout and I are coordinating this GoFundMe page for our fearless nephew Cashton, our courageous big sister Katie and her family as they take on the fight of their lives.
I want to tell you about Cashton, who is such a remarkable and spirited 4-year-old boy who brings joy to everyone he meets. With his infectious silliness and loving nature, he steals hearts wherever he goes.
He is the beloved brother of Callen (9) and Colton (6) and the cherished son of Katie (Brown) and Matt Purkapile. Cashton is momma's little helper, always eager to lend a hand in the kitchen, garden, and even with cleaning. He loves going with his dad on semi rides and stands by his side, ready to assist with any repairs. Farming holds a special place in his heart, and he never misses a beat when it comes to joining in his brothers' mischievous adventures. Exploring nature, riding his 4-wheeler, and nurturing plants are some of his absolute favorite things to do.
Cashton's family was heartbroken to learn that he has been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a cancer of the liver. He is currently at stage 4, with multiple tumors present throughout both lungs. He bravely embarked on his first round of chemotherapy this week, but the road ahead is long. The treament plan entails three rounds of chemo, with each round lasting three weeks. Cashton will need to be admitted for two days each week, extending this intense treatment for a total of nine weeks.
To support Cashton during this challenging time, Katie has taken unpaid leave from her job, while Matt works as a self-employed truck driver. The financial strain is going to be significant, with mounting medical expenses and the need to provide the best care for their courageous little warrior.
Now is the time for Cash's Crew to come together and rally behind Cashton's fight against cancer. With your generous contributions, we can ease the burden on this remarkable family and ensure that Cashton receives the vital treatment he needs. Together, we will show the world the strength and reilience of this incredible little boy as he battles with unwavering determination.
Thank you so much for being here and supporting Cashton and his amazing family. More than anything, we ask for your love hope, and prayers. Please follow this page and the Caring Bridge site for updates on Cashton's progress.
