Hope for Jayden: Rallying Together for His Recovery

We’re reaching out on behalf of our wonderful Jayden, an 8-year-old boy with a bright spirit, a loving heart, and a smile that lights up every room.

Jayden is a truly special child—compassionate, curious, and always looking out for others. He’s an amazing baseball player who loves playing with his team, the EPT Owls. You’ve probably seen him on the diamond, he’s the “Big Kid” everyone notices on the field. Jayden’s passion for the game has even given him opportunities to join and compete with other teams, from his Florida team to local teams throughout El Paso. He has loved meeting fellow baseball enthusiasts and has made wonderful friendships along the way.

Jayden’s journey took an unexpected and critical turn on November 5th when he was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at El Paso Children’s Hospital. He initially showed symptoms of an infection, but within hours, his condition escalated into a severe and life-threatening battle, affecting multiple organs and causing dangerously low blood sugar levels. Jayden is now in need of highly specialized care from an extraordinary team of physicians, nurses, and around-the-clock medical support as they work to understand the underlying cause and bring him back to health.

Jayden’s family has been by his side every moment, providing him with all the love, strength, and prayers they can, but the journey will be long and challenging. This GoFundMe, managed directly by Jayden’s parents, is dedicated to supporting Jayden’s care and helping his family manage the financial strain that comes with intensive treatments and the time away from work.
