Justice for Aaliyah
Donation protected
My name is Maya Thomas and I am the childhood best friend, and more like a sister to LaRhonda Jackson. I have created this campaign to assist my 16yr old neice Aaliyah Jackson who was violently beaten by a group of teens and left at a hospital fighting for her life. Aaliyah was picked up by a thought to be “friend”, only to be set up and taken to an abandoned house in Dallas TX where several BOYS and girls beat and stomped her violently. While carrying her away from the assault they were involved in a car crash leaving Aaliyah unconscious. The teens involved posted videos of the assault on social media and have not cooperated with police or medical staff to provide any information. Aliyah has been non responsive since that day. She is in the hospital fighting for her life with injuries to her nose, neck, back and ribs to name a few. She had to have reconstruction of her ear and requires breathing assistance from a ventilator. I am only sharing this level of details so that anyone reading understands the severity and understands this is a cry for help with ANYTHING you can do to assist in bringing this to justice and helping out this family in ANY way. We are asking anyone that has any information or knows anyone who can assist in locating these teens to speak out and reach out to the Dallas Police Department. The financial help is to assist the family while mom is off of work to sit with Aaliyah throughout the day and night. It’s imperative she stays near to assist in keeping her calm when she slips in and out of consciousness. This is a rough time for her and her other children and we just want to assist with the expense of food, bills, medical support, long term recovery efforts (physical therapy, speech therapy, home health care, etc) and anything she may need to help get justice for Aaliyah as we pray for her continued recovery.
