Tammy’s Medical Bills

Hello. My name is Kayla I am Tammy’s daughter. For those of you who don’t know my mom suffered a heart attack on Monday February 28. She is currently in the ICU on a ventilator at UPMC Presbyterian. My mom has always been a fighter and she’s showing that more than ever right now. We thank everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers through this tough time. My mom is going to have a long road to recovery and with her been off work and my dad being off work as he is with her in Pittsburgh. I know they would appreciate any financial help they can get as the bills will be pouring in.

Update on Tammy Tilson-Morgan

Monday, she had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest in the emergency waiting room. She was resuscitated in the ED treatment room and placed on a vent. She was taken to the cath lab with 100% block of LAD, had 2 stents placed, and then she was taken to the ICU. She was treated through the night until Tuesday, when Dr. Jabbour had her transferred to Presby in Pittsburgh, at around 4pm, to have a pump surgically placed to raise her blood pressure.

The surgeon spoke with us after the surgery saying that it went well and she is very stable from the surgery, but she still has extensive heart damage. He also noted that she could be taken off the vent in 12-24 hours.
