Please help amputee Mike get his prosthetic leg

Hi, my name is Donna, and I am starting a gofundme for, Mike Zook to help him get his prosthetic leg, to cover what his insurance won’t pay. Back in November the week of Thanksgiving, he went to the emergency room because it hurt for him to walk with his right leg. He found out he had blood clots in his right leg. He had 2 procedures done 2 days in a row to remove the clots. After being released from the hospital a week and a half later he developed an infection in his leg. He went to the er again and was admitted they did another surgery to remove the infection. But the next morning they came in and said they only had 1% chance of saving his leg. So they gave him option to try and save his leg or take his leg. Mike chose to have them take his leg above the knee. On 12/22/22 he went in for surgery to remove his leg.

Mike spent a week in the hospital after his leg was removed then spent another week in rehab. He is now home and is being seen at the Hanger clinic for his prosthetic leg. At the moment he is in limbo because of insurance. Mike wants to be able to return to work, and to get back to a normal life as possible. Mike has the heart of gold and helps so many people out without thinking of himself. He mows grass for his elderly neighbors, and he is wanting to get back to helping them out. He’s not asking for a handout. We just thought this would help him towards the cost since he has numerous hospital bills since November. Any little bit will help and will be greatly appreciated
