Rabbit Rescue in Poland need your help

We were shocked when we saw another invoice for the treatment of our residents in February.

If rescued and abandoned animals are helped on a larger scale, these costs run into thousands of zlotys. That's what happened in February again, and that's how can be in future months. Currently, there are approximately 100 rabbits under our care in Rabbit Rescue in Toruń, and a much smaller number in temporary homes.

This invoice gave us heart palpitations ,headache and stress. The most important and basically unchanged goal of our activity for years is to help as many rabbits in need as possible, which unfortunately increases every year.

There is hardly a day that goes by without us receiving a report about another abandoned rabbit or a place where animal abuse occurs, or simply about a rabbit that, for some reason, can no longer stay with its current owner.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of rabbits that come into our care are sick, neglected, requiring intensive treatment, castration, and appropriate nutrition, and this generates huge costs.
