Mark Turner

My name is Jared Turner, I’m the eldest son of Mark Turner.

I wanted to reach out and let you know that I’m fund raising for my Dad Mark Turner who has been diagnosed with a very rare aggressive cancer. Dad has been told he has a 50/50 chance of beating this rare cancer. Dad is no longer able to work and contributes to the family 60 hours a week in wages. Due to this loss of income, I am hoping to raise money for Mark & Shelley to go towards medical bills, rent, cost of living while raising my 2 younger brothers.

This diagnosis has been devastating for our family and friends. Two of Dads greatest loves in life are his family & his fitness. He’s passionate about his running & loves his HIIT workouts as well as hiking mountains here in FNQ. So the next month is going to be brutal for him. The next 4 weeks Dad is confined to his hospital room while he undergoes 2 different chemotherapy treatments at once & will have to undergo blood transfusions.

As all family and friends know, Mark is one of the kindest most selfless people you could meet. He will always lend a hand to anyone in need and never makes a big deal about it.
