Hi, my name is Rob. I am 49 years old, and have been married for 18 years to my beautiful wife. In November of 2014, I was diagnosed with Stage III Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer. We were, of course, devistated at the news, but I knew I had to fight it with all I have. Not only for me, but for the woman I dedicated a full life to.
It's been over a year now, and the fight continues. My Doctors are planning on having me in hospital through Christmas and New Years. It will be the first time me and my wife have been apart for these special days. The reason I'm pleading my case here, is because my state disability has gone past it's 1 year plan, and we have depleated our savings trying to stay afloat.
With all the fighting with health insurance, state disability, and everyday life, it really doesn't help to try to battle cancer on top of everything else. All I want is for my wife to be able to cope for the next few months while I am going through the toughest part of my medical regimen. I know the bills are going to start piling up, and with no income, it's not making it any easier to deal with this cancer. God bless everyone, have a blessed Christmas, a safe New Year, and hug the ones you love tightly......you never know.....Thanks.
