Tyler's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
As many of you may already know, Tyler was in a terrible car accident yesterday in Juneau and was life flighted to Harborview in Seattle for emergency treatment. He is now listed as stable but critical. He sustained major injuries, some minor and some severe. He is currently on a ventilator with two collapsed lungs. The doctors believe once the blood and air are evacuated from his lungs that his lungs will recover. He has a small brain bleed that they are determining if he will need surgery for. He has two broken clavicles along with 12 staples in his head. The most serious injury is his possible spinal fracture at the C1 vertebrae. He is in a collar. Last night Tyler was able to respond to simple commands so the doctors are hopeful that he did not sustain any major brain damage but it is too early to tell. Tyler was one of 4 passengers in the vehicle. Tyler is currently surrounded by many friends and family as he begins his journey to recovery.
We are hoping to relieve any and all financial strain for Tyler and the Watkins family. Tyler will have a long road to recovery and any donation helps bring healing to him and his family.
