My brother Stephen has been fighting for his life in ICU for 3 weeks now. My family and I need financial help due to the heavy financial burden that we are experiencing. We are unable to carry this burden on our own.
Stephen is a husband to Carol, new father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He's been ill with a rare and complex autoimmune illness called Dermatomyositis since December 2013. Due to the lengthy diagnosis and management of the condition, he has been in and out of hospital including 2 months in India with total bills in excess of Ksh 10M
He is currently receiving critical care due to an opportunistic chest infection that struck
while his immunity and strength were low. We are praying for his complete healing and are seeing
the hand of God in Steve's life. His health has improved alot in the last 3 weeks but it may still be a long road to full health.
We know Steve to be a kind, vivacious guy with so much to live for, especially his only child Ciru, now 2 weeks old. Steve is 33. We wish him only the best and a speedy recovery.
Steve is self employed, in Kenya, with no health benefits.This is an appeal to friends and well wishers to kindly assist Steve, his friends and family in meeting the medical costs by contributing to Steve’s medical fund.
