Cherish Program for Kids with HIV in Uganda

Cherish Uganda is a faith-based initiative that focuses on creating hope and a future for children with HIV/AIDS. Often times in Uganda, children and teens with HIV/AIDS are stigmatized and pushed to the margins of society. Many of these children living with HIV are also not receiving treatment or quality care. Since the institutionalization of children is extremely detrimental to growth and development, our goal is to minister to these children through our schools, health center, and Cherish Life Program.

I have friends with HIV who I love and support, and I want to help fight the stigma and the hurt that surrounds this disease.  I hope that through fundraising for Cherish Uganda, I can help #ChangeTheStory of the children with HIV in Uganda.
