Fire victim needs help.
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Kathleen and I am raising funds for our friend Daralyn Schmitt. I can’t imagine losing my home and everything I own even once. But to have it happen twice is unimaginable. Two nights ago Daralyn was returning home only to find her home fully engulfed in flames. Her dog Molly was trapped inside the house . Daralyn risked her own life and a firefighter raced into the burning house to rescue Molly. Her home was a total loss and Daralyn was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and burns. Luckily, she was discharged the next day and will be all right. Unfortunately, Molly didn’t have the same outcome. The next day Molly lost her life due to injuries from the fire and other health conditions.
In 2017 Northern California suffered its worst wildfire ever. The Coffee Park neighborhood was just one of the areas that lost hundreds of homes. It was Daralyn’s home. Now for the second time she has lost everything.
Together we can help her rebuild her life. Daralyn is a hardworking chef at Saucy Mamas restaurant in Guerneville, California who gives back to her community and deserves our help. She could be anyone of us. Please donate to this deserving woman. To go through this twice is just not fair . And at age fifty eight she is now put in the position of starting again. Please help her if you can and share with your friends. Daralyn is my friend and she needs our help to replace everything she owed and to obtain new housing in a difficult housing market in Guerneville California. Thank you.
