Pastor Marty's Medical Fundraiser

Some of you know him as Super M, Brother Marty, or Pastor Marty, He’s been dubbed #thegreatestchildrenspastorofalltime and he needs our help.

 

On Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, Pastor Marty was struck by a vehicle while mowing his lawn.

The impact forced him into the ditch causing several injuries, including a severe head injury, a broken neck (vertebrae 1 & 2), and severe back pain. Only by the power of God is he alive, coherent and able to move his hands and feet. We are thankful that the individual who was involved in the impact did not leave him alone. They have been very kind in reaching out in support of the family.

He recently underwent a major surgery on his neck where he has 5 screws in place, everything went well and we are believing for a full recovery. However, there will be a long road ahead and he will incur a great financial burden as a result of this accident. 

 

So many people have reached out and the love we have received from everyone is truly a testament to how loved he is. If you know him, you love him. If he knows you, he loves you and he makes sure you know it! He has been the Children’s Pastor at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, LA for almost 30 years and has given his heart and soul to the children of Crossroads Church. He truly is everyone’s favorite Children’s Pastor. 

 

HOW CAN WE HELP? 

 

We set up this page to raise money to help offset hospital costs and any other financial burdens that may come. He also lost his beloved lawn mower in the accident, and we would love to replace that for him.
