Help my transition...

So here's my story. I've been unemployed for two years. I'm good at what I do but I feel like I am dealing with a number of obstacles. One is my age. I'm 60 and it's just hard to find work. Second, the longer I'm unemployed the harder it is to get in the door. Be that as it may, I recently came very close to getting very good, very meaningful work. I was a finalist for two different positions. I was hoping that I'd have a choice but ultimately didn't get either. However, this was the closest I've gotten in two years. That leaves me with some hope that I'm getting ever closer to real employment. I've also got a real shot at some temporary work that will at least help me survive for a while longer. But that still leaves me with a major problem. I am literally on the verge of losing my home of twenty years. I'm behind on the rent and broke. I'm going to court on Monday and need to be able to show that I will be able to catch up very quickly or I'm out by the end of the month. You folks have helped me before and I'll be forever grateful for that. I really didn't want to put my hand out again. I swore up and down that I wouldn't... couldn't do this but that's what I'm doing. My cat Buffy and I need your help to remain in our home. Please?
