You’re a teenager and you are hiding something!

You’re 14 and you start feeling funny.

Your leg starts going and you start getting a strange sensation at random times wherever you maybe: that stops you in your tracks! You can’t move your mobility is frozen!

You don’t say anything because you don’t want to cause anyone any bother.

You start having seizures - you don’t say anything! You try and manage these alone because that’s just what kids do!

A few months later you have a huge seizure and dad witnesses it, dad is petrified but smartly starts recording whilst holding your hand and keeping calm and repeats its ok baby I’m here!

You now have regular seizures scared to go anywhere but you keep your chin up smile and keep going! Epilepsy is initially diagnosed, but the team think something else is happening too.

Months go by again, Hospital appointments, scans, meetings and still waiting to understand what is actually happening.

You now have a diagnosis - it’s a brain tumour!

You’re 15 and have been informed you need brain surgery and there is a possibility that you could end up in a wheelchair with a permanent weakness in your leg. We won’t know until we are in surgery.

This is our amazing neice, she is strong beautiful smart and courageous.

Roxy is about to head into her hardest challenge so far in her life. We would love it if you would help us create funds for her to make some real memories and enjoy some adventures before she has her surgery.
