Bella Grace

On the morning of 7/11/20 my day began with excitement as I headed to Austin, TX to look for an apartment. I had just accepted a new job the day before and put in my 2 weeks notice for resignation with my current employer. I stopped to visit my grandmother on my way back home from Austin and then around 9:20 pm my life was turned upside down. I was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver who was driving the wrong direction and evading arrest with police in pursuit of him in North Bryan, TX on Hwy 6. My 2020 Jeep Cherokee flipped and is now a total loss. All 6 air bags released and when they did an orange smoke filled the cabin and I thought my car was on fire. I tried with all my might to get out of the car window and then I saw a stranger’s hand. A man used his pocket knife to puncture the air bags and helped me out of the car and by God’s grace I’m alive. The worst part of this entire ordeal is that when I looked around there was no Bella! Bella Grace is my precious emotional support dog who was riding with me and now is nowhere to be found. Apparently, she escaped immediately after the car flipped and windows broke. Bella fled the scene in fear and was last seen running into the nearby woods. I need financial support ASAP for personal and medical expenses such as paying doctor office fees, emergency room fees, ambulance transportation fee, take some time off of work in order to recover from my bodily injuries, heal emotionally, pay household bills and find my Bella. I do not have any money saved for emergencies and I do not have PTO at my place of employment plus my job ends in two weeks now. I can’t leave BCS without my Bella Girl and with all that has suddenly happened I don’t even know how I can make the move to start the new job. I am in need of another vehicle and I need help, support, and lots of prayers from the Brazos Valley community to search for and find my sweet Bella Grace.
