On November 7th, the universe suddenly lost a shining star, Joanna Stein.
Anybody who met Joanna knew that she loved hard, especially the kids in her life. She treated everybody like family, and family meant more to her than anything in the world. James, Ashlyn, Kaylee, and Tyler were the center of her universe, but she loved all of her "noodles" like they were her own. She was so more than an amazing mother, daughter, wife, and friend--her nieces and nephews would tell you that to them she was so much more than an aunt; she was our Annie.
She was your fiercest cheerleader, your kick in the ass, someone who brought people together. Nothing gave her greater joy than seeing all of her loved ones together around the holidays and spending quality time together. She was someone who loved you so much that she would sit on your lap even though there was space on the couch right next to you, until you have 20 people piled on top of the same couch. It's just who she was, and her presence will be missed by many.
Many of you know, Joanna had spent the past few months in the hospital; this gofundme is being set up to allow her family some peace of mind in this time of mourning so that they can grieve without the added pressure of additional financial strain. May God give us some sort of comfort and strength in all the great memories we have of Joanna, our "Annie".
If anyone is able, every little contribution makes a difference; every $5 adds up and all proceeds will go directly to the family and will be used to offset the financial burdens of this loss.
