Rev. Ronald L. Wright – Memorial Fund
(October 11, 1949 - August 31, 2015)
We began this appeal two weeks ago to help the Wright family with the crushing costs of Rev. Wright's medical care. Things have changed in that the Lord called Rev. Wright home on Monday, August 31.
He had fought the good fight dealing with Parkinson's disease and a companion disease called Lewy Body Disease. And now the family is faced with the additional burden of addressing the cost of celebrating his life.
This is an appeal for support of the family of Rev. Ronald L. Wright. Ron's last moments were at the Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care Community facility, surrounded by his loving wife and brother, when he breathed his last breath. He is now preaching, praising and worshipping the Lord in Heaven.
The family has arranged to celebrate his Homegoing on next Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. It will be at:

2 Timothy 4:6-8 (NLT)
As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.
Rev. Ron Wright was a son of Ward AME Church. Rev. Ron Wright was a son of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Ron Wright was a co-founder of the Free N’ One Ministries. Rev. Ron Wright was Pastor at St. Paul AME Church in Santa Barbara. Rev. Ron Wright was Pastor at Emmanuel AME Church in Los Angeles. Rev. Ron Wright was the founder and creator of the “Holy Hookup.” Rev. Ron Wright was the founding Pastor, and the Pastor Emeritus at New Vision Church of Jesus Christ in Los Angeles. The Reverend Ronald L. Wright has made a difference in the lives of thousands of people. His spirit is still alive in us.
Rev. Ron Wright was a husband, father, grandfather and brother beloved. His family needs our help, and they need it now!

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
