As many of you know, I have been in the process of transitioning toward my internal gender for about six years now. I have an uncanny knack for self-denial, so it took me an agonizing 22 years to figure out what exactly wasn't fitting right within me in the grand scheme of my life, but once my path forward became clear to me, there was no looking back. I've been happily on Testosterone since 2016 and am ready to take the next step -- removing my chest in order to more closely align with my true gender. So many people have supported me during my transition just by being accepting and respectful of the new me I am still in the process of discovering, and I can't thank you all enough for understanding that I am not a different person than I was -- it's just the wrapper that wasn't quite right.

 

Medical and surgical transition are currently the most beneficial ways to aliviate the gender dysphoria I feel on a daily basis. The stress and anxiety of being dysphoric effect me constantly and after watching my husband, Aiden, have so much success with his results I am thrilled to be in the process of scheduling my surgery with an excellent surgeon team in San Francisco. With the insurance approval in the works, the only thing standing in my way is the deductable I'll have to pay. Anyone who would be willing to help me with the next step in my transition would be greatly appreciated, in any way that you are able.
