Jessica's Journey

Jessica Wallace is an amazing, hardworking, loyal and loving mother of 2 boys, ages 8 and 4.  She has always been the person who puts others before herself. Until recently, she held 2 jobs - a lot of weeks without a day off.  She has always had amazing drive and an extremely strong work ethic.

Jess began having pain in her side after what she thought was an injury in June of last year.  The pain never went away and several times, the doctors diagnosed her with a pulled or strained muscle.  When the lump appeared on her side, they began treating her for an abscess on her ribs.  It wasn’t until recently that they biopsied the mass.  The doctors realized the mass was actually metastatic cancer.  She has started chemo and radiation with surgery to follow once they shrink the main tumor.

She’s been unable to work and will likely not be able to work for up to a year due to her treatment and recovery.  She is under a lot of stress about this and not being able to pay her bills.
