Maryam's Eye Surgery Fund

Maryam is 9 months old and lives in Iraq. Both of her eyes are in need of retinal detatchment repair, which is an eye surgery that places a retina back into its normal position.

My name is Ninevehta Khoshaba, and I'm from Chicago. I'm not directly related to Maryam, but her aunt who lives near me asked me to help out. All of the proceeds will be withdrawn by her and sent to the family via Western Union. The surgery cost will be $6,000. Since the family lives in Iraq and need to travel to Iran for the surgery, travel and lodging will be another few thousand—hence the $10,000 goal.
